Brandon Roach Appointed Head Coach of the Falcons Women

The Falcons are pleased to announce the appointment of Brandon Roach as Head Coach of the Falcons Women for the upcoming Premier Hockey League season.

A highly regarded coach within the Manawatu region, Roach brings extensive experience and a strong record of success to the role. He previously served as Assistant Coach for the Falcons Women and most recently led the Manawatu Women’s National Hockey Championship team.

Roach has also been involved in the 2023/24 Future Black Sticks Coaching Programme, reflecting his commitment to continuous professional development and his contribution to New Zealand’s high-performance coaching pathway.

Following last year’s gold medal performance by the Falcons Women, Roach’s appointment represents a continuation of the team’s strong foundations and ambition for sustained success in the Premier Hockey League.
